A major pain point is that after sudden disasters such as bridge collapses, slope failures, or pavement damage occur, it’s impossible to promptly detect these events and issue timely alerts to passing vehicles, thereby leading to further escalation of casualties.
After the incident occurs, an AI-based road disaster detection and alert technology quickly identifies hazards such as bridge collapses, slope landslides, and debris flows, and immediately triggers the disaster alert mechanism. Once a disaster is detected, vehicles passing by are promptly and swiftly alerted to take emergency evasive actions, such as pulling off the road. At the same time, the system simultaneously pushes disaster event information to the on-duty leaders and personnel of regulatory and maintenance units, enabling them to promptly activate the emergency response and handling plan. Through automated identification, automatic response, and automatic alerting measures, vehicles operating in the affected road sections are promptly halted, thereby minimizing the risk of casualties and preventing the disaster from escalating further at the earliest possible moment and to the greatest extent.
The hardware equipment primarily consists of a power supply unit, cameras, an integrated alarm control unit, and alarm devices. Among these, the integrated alarm control unit is responsible for edge computing of images captured by the cameras and for synchronizing alarm information with the monitoring center. It uses audible and visual alarms to alert vehicles nearby in case of an incident, prompting them to take emergency measures and thereby minimizing casualties as much as possible.
